Topology Optimization

Classical optimal design is restricted by the initial assumptions of the adopted parametrized model. Topology optimization is able to provide much more flexible solutions, that can be created thanks to the currently available additive manufacturing technology. Our group works in both fundamental (computational) as well as applied issues of topology optimization.
