Mechatronics deals with the design, study and optimization of complex multifield dynamical systems that include mechanical, electronic components connected through sensors, actuators and control units.
This course is focused on modeling techniques for linear and nonlinear mechatronic systems as well as study of soft computing techniques for the intelligent control (fuzzy, neural and hybrid controllers) Homeworks are extensively based on MATLAB and related packages for fuzzy, neural and control systems.
